Information about Promozione and Produzione

"From Baroque to the Present" (Dal Barocco ai Tempi Nostri) is a project started in 1985 by the cultural association Centro di Promozione Artistica for the rediscovery and appreciation of rare pieces of Italian classical music, starting with the Baroque period. The fruits of these efforts have been outstanding recordings - for example, of Scarlatti's Sonatas played on a 1870 Pleyel by Maestro Campanella, or the rare dreamlike Recitativo of abate Bonporti - that are now available for you to purchase on our web site.
It is the intention of P&P Classica that this project will reach contemporary music one day. However, in this section of our site, we specialize in (mainly Italian) baroque music and we want to share, expand, discuss our repository of baroque music information with our visitors. This section of the site will therefore grow and be constantly updated, with articles, links, samples, information, and databases. We will certainly need and appreciate your comments and suggestions.
